Job summary

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare, business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in perioperative services.
- BLS and AHA certifications required.
- CNOR certification required or preferred.
- RN license in Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Assures delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Develops ongoing recruitment strategies and oversees their implementation.
- Collaborates to establish planning consistent with the mission, strategic operation, quality and safety improvement plan, and overall organizational goals.
- Monitors vacancy and turnover rates; designs and implements programs to achieve minimal vacancies and reduce turnover.
- Participates in and applies research in practice.
- Establishes priorities to meet clinical and operational requirements.
- Develops and implements systems that enable consistent evaluation of nursing care provided.
- Develops, reviews, and/or recommends revision of policies, procedures, and practices.
