Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an executive administrator to oversee the Perioperative Services Division 24/7, including pre-procedure testing, Pre-Op, Main OR, Ambulatory and Minor Surgery, PACU, GI Lab, Sterile Processing and Central Service. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related field and at least 5 years of management experience, with Georgia RN licensure or equivalent.

A Master’s degree is preferred and responsibilities include policy development, budgeting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years experience including three years of progressive management/leadership experience required.
• RN license in Georgia or NLC/eNCL multistate license required if RN.

Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility for all areas/functions of the Perioperative Services Division on a 24/7 basis.
• Develops policies and procedures and quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility.
• Develops capital and operating budgets for the Perioperative Services Division.
• Ensures staffing via interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, and action on employee concerns.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or another related field

Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
