Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver direct patient care in the Gonda 15 Surgical Services Outpatient Procedure Center. The RN coordinates pre/post anesthesia care, performs moderate sedation under supervision, and educates patients and families in an outpatient setting.

Qualified applicants will have a nursing program graduate background, one year of RN experience preferred, and current RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required prior to start date.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) must be valid for 90 days post start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in outpatient setting.
• Coordinate and deliver perianesthesia care in pre/post area.
• Provide patient education and care transitions.
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork in a fast-paced unit.
