Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Gonda 15 Surgical Services Outpatient Procedure Center in Minnesota. The RN will deliver direct patient care in the outpatient setting, coordinate perianesthesia care, and perform moderate sedation under the direction of the anesthesiologist or proceduralist.

Qualifications

• RN graduate with active RN license and state requirements.
• 1 year of professional RN experience required.
• BLS/CPR certification and required certifications per unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the outpatient setting.
• Coordinate perianesthesia care in pre/post anesthesia areas.
• Provide moderate sedation under supervision of anesthesia or proceduralist.
• Educate patients and families and orient colleagues as needed.
