Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse for operating room or pre/post‑op assignments. You will deliver direct patient care, educate patients, and coordinate perioperative services in a high‑quality outpatient setting.

The RN leads patient education, plans and evaluates care, and mentors team members while practicing within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model. A TN sponsorship pathway is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience is required.
• Post-start BSN requirement: evidence within five years from RN start date.
• For earlier RN starts, provide BSN evidence per policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and education in outpatient settings.
• Circulating RN for perioperative care in OR and coordinate pre/post care.
• Provide moderate sedation as directed by anesthesiologist or proceduralist.
• Plan, implement, evaluate nursing care, and mentor colleagues.
• Align practice with Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
