Job summary

Chattanooga Pain Center in Hixson, TN is hiring a Full-Time Perioperative RN to join our surgical team. You will work across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases to ensure safe and compassionate care for our patients undergoing pain management procedures.

Eligible candidates have an RN license in Tennessee, a nursing degree, 3+ years perioperative experience, BLS/ACLS, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 3 years of perioperative, pre-, post-operative or OR nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Longevity in past roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the surgical team to plan and implement patient care during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, providing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with anesthesia administration.
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.
