Job summary
HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the operating room. The position offers a salary range of $36.00 to $52.00 per hour based on skill and experience, with typical shifts 0630-1500, Monday through Friday.
The RN will provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical setting. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License.
- Current American Heart Assn. BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Minimum one year in the OR; ability to scrub and circulate is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
- Assess physiological and psychosocial health status of patients and document findings.
- Manage patient pain per policy and communicate with the team for continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate patient histories and chart documentation with professional title.
