Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the OR on a part-time basis. The role spans preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, using the nursing process to achieve patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS. OR experience of at least six months is preferred; scrub and circulate skills are a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum six months in the OR; scrub and circulate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Perform nursing actions with accountability and safe judgment.
• Demonstrate proper aseptic technique and efficient turnover in the OR.
