Job summary

Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT, seeks an experienced Operating Room RN to deliver intraoperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing, an active Connecticut RN license, and 1+ year intraoperative experience, with rotating weekends/holidays, on-call duties, and exclusive specialty pay for seasoned nurses.

Employment type is full-time, day shift, 40 hours per week, with RN Step Program pay range from $36.15 to $59.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Valid RN license in Connecticut.
• Ideal candidates must have 1 or more years of intraoperative nursing experience, including circulating and scrub experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties, including patient positioning, site prep, instrumentation, and sterile technique.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient, coordinated care throughout procedures.
