Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during the same-day surgical experience, using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with the health team. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, document care accurately, and promote professionalism while meeting licensure requirements.

A BSN is required by update; valid RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• BSN required; education must be from an accredited institution; degree will be verified.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status.
• Plan: Develops individualized plan of care with involvement from patient, family, and team.
• Implement: Directs care with delegation and coordination.
