Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Same Day Surgery unit in Riverton to join our full-time team. The role involves collaborative patient assessment and planning with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality perioperative care.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a BSN within five years if not already obtained, with strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• RNs with less than 12 months of RN experience must obtain a BSN within five years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Develop individualized plan of care using assessment information and critical thinking.
• Prepare patients for education, referrals, and follow-up as needed.
• Direct and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Evaluate patient response to interventions and revise care plans as needed.
