Job summary

Beloit Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Recovery/PACU team. The role focuses on pre-, peri-, and post-operative care, delivering patient-centered nursing across the perioperative pathway with support from the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for surgery, monitoring during recovery, and assisting the surgical team. On-call with 30-minute response and varied per diem hours may apply. Wisconsin RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• State of Wisconsin Nursing licensure or permit required.
• On call requirements, 30-minute response time.
• Basic Life Support/CPR within 3 months.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate patient care across the lifespan.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under supervision with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide specialized nursing care before, during and after surgical procedures.
• Float among clinical services as directed/needed.
• Assist in circulating duties and support the surgical team as assigned.
