Job summary

Unity Health in Searcy, AR is seeking an In House Agency Nurse RN, Perioperative, PRN Days 0630-1700+Call. The contract is six months with an elevated hourly rate, and no benefits or PTO accrual.

Agency perioperative nurses participate in the OR call schedule and may apply for open positions afterward. The role requires a nursing degree, Arkansas RN license, and extensive perioperative experience; BLS, ACLS, and PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current AR licensure.
• Extensive perioperative experience; circulating skills preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Knowledge of nursing processes, assessment, planning, and delivery of care.
• Safety sensitive position with policy on medical marijuana compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
• Serve as a resource nurse when oriented and directed.
• Support Unity Health's mission, vision and values in patient care.
• Apply understanding of patient age and cultural needs in care delivery.
