Job summary

Qualifications

• ADN degree required and RN license active in state of practice.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patient pain; implement pain management techniques.
• Educate patient and family regarding pain management and perioperative care.
• Administer medications and treatments per hospital protocol.
• Clarify and review physician orders; take appropriate action.
• Assist in draping, instrument preparation, and sterile field maintenance.
• Assist physician and CRNA; support OR efficiency and patient safety.
• Document patient data and status clearly and thoroughly.
