Unity Health in Searcy, AR is seeking a dedicated Perioperative Nurse RN to join our operating room team. This full-time role requires delivering comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgery, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia staff, and maintaining sterile technique.

The position features four 10-hour shifts with on-call duties. Candidates should have an active US RN license, BLS, and perioperative experience; CNOR/ACLS are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Currently licensed RN in the United States.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification holder.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, perioperative or surgical preferred.
• Full-time schedule of four 10-hour shifts with on-call availability.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for surgery by conducting preoperative assessments and educating them about the procedure and postoperative care.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures by coordinating case flow, monitoring patient status, and maintaining sterile fields.
• Provide postoperative care including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and identifying any complications or adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Respond to on-call situations promptly, providing expert nursing care during emergency or unscheduled surgical cases.
