The Prep & Recovery Unit RN at Cayuga Medical Center cares for patients receiving anesthesia and those recovering from it. You will monitor pre and post-operative vital signs, assess consciousness, and observe for anesthesia side effects.

We seek candidates with an Associate Degree in Nursing and NY RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS desired. Onsite, full-time role with day/evening shifts, some weekend calls, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualificações

• Associate Degree in Nursing and active New York State RN license.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS certification to be obtained during introductory period.
• 6–12 months critical care experience or 1 year recovery experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize both expected and unanticipated patient needs.
• Evaluate care delivery and document decisions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform accurate patient assessments within the established standard of care.
• Recognize priorities within patient care and act accordingly.
• Communicate effectively to solve problems and ensure safe care.
