Job summary

USPI Aloe Surgical Center is seeking a motivated PRN Pre OP/PACU RN to join our team. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies in the perioperative services for all patient populations.

The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services and contributes to a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment.

Qualifications

• Current AZ Nursing License.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability and professionalism.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and knowledge of surgery procedures.
• Understands aseptic technique and their implementation.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
• Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Support perioperative services for all patient populations in an ASC environment.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Peri-Operative Services and operating teams.
• Experience working in an ASC is a plus; team-oriented and patient-focused.
