Kansas Spine & Specialty in Wichita, KS is seeking a Pre/Post-Operative Registered Nurse to lead patient admissions, preoperative care, and immediate postoperative stabilization.

You will assess patients, coordinate tests, educate families, and ensure safe discharge planning, following hospital protocols.

Requires an associate degree in nursing and Kansas RN license; BLS and ACLS required; perioperative experience preferred.

Qualifications

Associate degree in nursing required.
Valid Kansas RN license required.
BLS certification required; ACLS within 60 days.
ACLS certification preferred within 60 days.
Minimum 1 year perioperative experience.

Responsibilities

Admit patients and provide preoperative care.
Monitor perioperative vital signs and manage sedation.
Coordinate preop testing and document care.
Educate patients and families about procedures.
Maintain department safety and equipment.
Supervise non‑professional staff as delegated.
