Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Longmont, CO, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for UCHealth Longs Peak ASC. The role is on-site with day shifts, 80 hours per pay period, and a pay range of $37.06–$57.44 per hour depending on experience.

Provides direct patient care, monitors safety, and optimizes outcomes within standard practice and organizational values. Requires BLS/ACLS and PALS; promotes education for patient and family.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Minimum: 6 months RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
• All Life Support Certifications must be from AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents pre/post procedure assessment/evaluation/education of patient.
• Responds to life-threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols.
• Provides nursing care in a technically complex environment.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient/family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking, decisive judgement, and minimal supervision.
