Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in Breese, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Pre/Post Surgery team and carry out the functions that will assist the surgeon in performing a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. The RNFA practices peri-operative nursing and collaborates across departments with the surgeon to ensure quality care.

This part-time role offers 24 hours per week (days) in the Surgery department at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing and licensed as RN in state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin: multi-state RN license allowed per Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon to perform safe operations and optimize patient outcomes.
• RNFA practices peri-operative nursing with intra-operative collaboration across departments.

Education

RN license in state of practice
