Job summary

iCare Health Solutions, a VSP Vision™ company, seeks patient-centered nurses to provide perioperative care in a fast-paced setting in Florida. You will assess, monitor, and document care, administer treatments, operate OR equipment, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff to ensure safe, effective care.

Responsibilities cover pre-op, operating room, and post-op phases, with emphasis on safety, accurate documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current/active Florida RN license and have current ACLS/BLS CPR certifications

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ conditions and record their medical histories and symptoms
• Observe patients and record the observations and assessments in patient’s electronic health record (EHR)
• Administer patients’ medications and treatments
• Set up plans for patients’ care and contribute information to existing plans
• Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals
• Operate and monitor medical equipment and assist with diagnostic testing and analysis of results
• Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries and following care instructions at home after treatment
• May perform department tasks including one or more of the following:

Skills

Florida RN license

ACLS/BLS CPR certifications

Perioperative experience
