Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing or Bachelors in Nursing (Preferred)
• All certifications are required upon hire (RN, BLS or Instructor where applicable)
• Minimum 1 year relevant, recent, acute care clinical nursing experience required
• Licensed in Georgia or eligible for licensure per state requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process: assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation in clinical care using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting age, gender and disease considerations with culturally aware delivery.
• Partners with patient and significant others via bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching to focus care goals.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards and demonstrates teamwork and collaboration.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, high-quality patient care with interdisciplinary communication and governance.
• Supports performance improvement and shared governance across the care team.
