Job summary

Banner Surgery Center – Peoria, managed by Atlas Healthcare Partners, seeks an experienced RN to provide perioperative nursing care in an ASC setting. You will assess patients, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with physicians and the health team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requires active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PALS within 90 days if pediatrics are involved. Prior PreOp/PACU experience preferred, with eligibility for Perianesthesia Academy as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification within 90 days if assigned ASC services pediatrics.
• Minimum 1 year licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU or enrollment in Perianesthesia Academy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and post-operative planning needs.
• Formulate and update a plan of care with multidisciplinary team.
• Implement and supervise plan of care and ensure physician orders are followed.
• Document care, patient response, and plans in the medical record.
• Provide care according to professional standards and facility policies.
