Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, days shift in Harlingen, TX, within the Surgery department. The assignment runs for 12 weeks with pay ranging from $1,502 to $2,027 gross per week.

The role requires an active RN license and perioperative certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) with at least one year of perioperative experience. Join a network of award-winning hospital partners and dedicated career specialists.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS (AHA) certificate required.
Current PALS (AHA) certificate required.
Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience required.

Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room, ensure the cleanliness of the environment, and confirm that all required equipment is functioning properly.
Assist in preparing the patient for surgery, verifying identity and surgical site, helping position the patient on the operating table, and ensuring pre-operative procedures are completed.
Document pertinent information before, during, and after the surgical procedure, such as vital signs, medications administered, and any other details for the medical record including specimens and implants.
