Qualifications

• BSN required; grandfathered from BSN if hired prior to 12/2019.
• 1 year operating room nursing experience in an acute setting.
• California RN license (CA Board of Registered Nursing).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) required within 30 days of hire (LA City only).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Universal Patient Safety Goals.
• Ensures correct site surgery and time-out standards.
• Maintains documentation in Cerner system.
• Performs perioperative nursing care across pre/intra/postop.
• Delegates tasks based on scope and capability.
• Participates in PI activities and policy updates.
