Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Same Day Surgery PACU at Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. The RN will deliver high-quality perioperative care, collaborate with the care team, and manage pre-, intra-, and post-operative responsibilities to optimize patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with 2 years of critical care experience or completion of an OR internship.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors).
• Two years of RN experience in critical care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate perioperative care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in the OR/PACU setting.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op nursing care and discharge instructions.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients undergoing surgery.
