Job summary

OSS Health in Enola, PA is seeking a skilled OR nurse to join our ambulatory surgery team. The role focuses on planning, preparing and delivering a safe operative experience for patients, while guiding surgical technicians and contributing to goals that support nursing standards and quality improvement.

The ideal candidate holds a PA RN license, BLS (ACLS/PALS within one year), and demonstrates proficiency with EMR systems and patient care processes.

Qualifications

Current PA RN license in good standing.
BLS certification is required; ACLS/PALS within one year of employment.
Experience in surgical, critical care or same day surgery is preferred.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems.
Knowledge of OSS Health Ambulatory Surgery Center processes.

Responsibilities

Participates in planning, preparing and producing a safe OR experience for patients.
Provides guidance and supervision to surgical technicians.
Maintains clinical competency in nursing practice and supports quality improvement.
Coordinates with OR team to ensure sterile environment and patient safety.
Documents accurately in medical records and adheres to regulatory standards.
