Job summary

SCA Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room. You will assess patient status, develop perioperative care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality perioperative services.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program with OR/medical-surgical experience; licensure in good standing, BLS/ACLS (PALS if pediatric care is included) and perioperative certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days or current ACLS certification.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout perioperative care.
• Develop individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as member of multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
