Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care across our network of facilities. You will promote the organization's mission and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans.

Ideal candidates have OR experience, current nursing licensure, and BLS/ACLS certification (PALS if pediatric care is involved). Perioperative certification is a plus. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
BLS within 90 days of employment.
ACLS within 90 days of employment.
PALS within 90 days if pediatric care is included in facility scope.
Perioperative Nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
