Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse - OR Circulator for PRN, volunteer-style coverage at our Talbott surgery center. The role focuses on coordinating perioperative nursing care and supporting the surgical team before, during, and after procedures.

The RN will administer meds, monitor patients, assist with sterile technique, and provide patient education while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN state licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assist in OR procedures and instrument handling.
• Administer medications and monitor patients.
• Perform post-anesthesia/recovery care.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards.
• Document care accurately and promptly.
