Job summary

Prosser Memorial Health seeks dedicated perioperative nurses to join our operating room team. This full-time role supports direct patient care across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases for diverse ages, from pediatric to geriatric, while coordinating closely with surgeons and anesthesia providers to monitor and optimize patient condition.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current WA license as RN or LPN.
• BLS at hire or within 30 days of employment; ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Previous experience in patient care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations during intraoperative care.
• Communicates continuously with surgeon and anesthesia provider about patient condition.
• Addresses psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care in the surgical environment.
