Job summary

TEEMA in Oregon seeks a dedicated Perioperative Registered Nurse (OR Circulator) to join a collaborative surgical team. You will advocate for patients, coordinate care, and ensure safety across all perioperative settings, with day shift and on-call rotation.

Eligible candidates hold an ADN (BSN preferred), and required BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC; CNOR/Periop 101/CRASE training preferred. This role focuses on patient advocacy, precise intraoperative care, and teamwork in a dynamic OR.)

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required; CNOR, Periop 101, and CRASE training preferred (CRASE required if assignment exceeds 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients throughout the surgical experience.
• Coordinate and oversee care during surgical procedures.
• Ensure correct patient, procedure, site, and documentation at all times.
• Perform surgical counts to prevent retained items.
• Safely administer medications and monitor patient response.
• Manage specimens according to policy and ensure accurate tracking.
• Protect patients from surgical risks and ensure sterile technique and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams.
