Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Oregon is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the operating room team. The RN will support inter-operative care, coordinate with the Health Care Team, ensure patient safety, and promote quality patient outcomes within the Labor Management Partnership framework.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, evaluating nursing care, and maintaining HIPAA compliance, with a focus on adult and perioperative patients in ambulatory surgery settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care within the last five (5) years.
• 2 years of circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 5 years.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during the inter-operative phase and coordinate with ASC professionals.
• Assess, plan, direct, provide and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with health care team.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; participate in quality assurance and staff meetings.
• Ensure safety and proper equipment setup and documentation per policy.
