Job summary

Methodist McKinney Hospital in McKinney, TX is seeking an experienced RN to provide perioperative care across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Requirements include a nursing degree from an accredited program, Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS or completion within 3 months of hire, and at least 2 years OR experience. Must be organized and capable in a fast-paced OR setting.

Qualifications

Degree from accredited nursing program.
Current Texas RN License.
BLS certification.
ACLS and PALS or completion within 3 months of hire date.
2 year OR experience.
Must possess organizational skills for fast-paced OR environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care through the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
Formulate a goal-directed care plan based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
Implement care to achieve desired outcomes.
Establish priorities based on patient needs and available resources.
Perform documentation duties accurately and timely in patient records.
Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications as required.
Collaborate with the team to deliver safe patient care.
Willingness to assist with other duties as needed.
