Job summary

Townsen Memorial Surgery Center - Spring is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse, Operating Room to join our team. The RN must hold an active Texas license and have intra-operative care experience.

Responsibilities include planning patient care, ensuring safety, and documenting care in the OR. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with the health care team, and adherence to facility policies and patient safety goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in Texas (active).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; PALS due within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of Intra-Operative Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates care plans with patients and families using the nursing process.
• Follows nursing processes and modifies care based on patient condition.
• Demonstrates clinical problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Provides timely, accurate documentation of patient care.
• Assists in identifying and confirming operative site.
• Maintains patient safety and privacy in the operating room.
