Job summary

SCA Health in Minnesota is seeking a perioperative nurse to join our OR team. You will assess patient status, develop perioperative care plans, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, valid RN license, and BLS/ACLS (PALS if pediatric care is included). One year of OR/medical-surgical experience preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a path to professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
