Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; ASN must complete BSN within five years.
• Current NJ RN license and BLS required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 yearOperating Room RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and restores patient’s health by completing the nursing process; collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams; provides physical and psychological support to patients and families.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by offering emotional and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Maintains quality of care by adhering to standards, measuring outcomes, and following hospital policies and regulations.
• Keeps a safe environment by complying with procedures and assisting healthcare personnel.
• Documents and communicates actions and needs per policy using SBAR and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

BSN preferred

ASN must complete BSN within five years
