Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative patient care at our Fort Worth facility. You will promote the organization’s mission and values while assessing patients through the perioperative process and developing individualized care plans.

This role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes across the perioperative spectrum. Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, active TX RN licensure, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included in facility scope within 90 days.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
