Job summary

SCA Health in Fort Worth, Texas seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, active Texas licensure, and BLS/ACLS; PALS if pediatric care is included. Perioperative certification is preferred.

You will assess patients, develop perioperative plans, and contribute to a culture of clinical quality, integrity and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standings.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or certification.
• PALS if pediatric care is included in the facility scope within 90 days.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
