UVMMC - Medical Center - Main Campus in Burlington, VT is offering a perioperative nursing internship for new graduate RNs and license-eligible candidates. The start date is January 18, 2027; this is a full-time position with call after orientation.

The program uses an AORN-based curriculum with online modules and a preceptored clinical experience, spanning ENT, Plastics, General, GYN, GU, DaVinci Robotics, CVT, Ortho and Neuro.

Qualifications

• State of Vermont RN license required or compact licensure recognized, or a graduate nurse who is license-eligible for the first time.
• NCLEX-RN must be passed prior to the start of the program.

Responsibilities

• Complete perioperative nursing course as described by AORN.
• Finish orientation to Main Campus and Fanny Allen ORs.
• Participate in on-call schedule after orientation.
• This is a bargaining union, full-time position.
