The position requires current RN licensure, 5 years of direct patient care experience, and ongoing engagement in professional development and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma of Nursing; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire (RN).
• Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Delivers relationship-based patient-centered care aligned with age, gender, disease and cultural diversity.
• Partners with patients and families via bedside shift reports, rounds and patient teaching.
• Coordinates safe, high-quality patient care with thorough documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Supports performance improvement and shared governance at all levels of the system.
