Job summary

Indiana University Health seeks a registered nurse for a PREOP/GI clinical role to support patients and providers across the perioperative continuum. Responsibilities include GI teching, patient prep, circulating duties, bronchoscopy assistance, anesthesia support, and post‑procedure recovery.

The RN will circulate GI and bronchoscopy cases, assist with airway management, document intra‑procedural details, and ensure safe, efficient workflow and patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires an ASN; Bachelor of Nursing preferred (BSN).
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other ALS may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Support GI procedures, including GI teching and assisting physicians.
• Circulate GI, surgical and bronchoscopy cases; assist anesthesia with airway management.
• Perform pre‑procedure patient preparation and comprehensive post‑procedure recovery.
• Maintain equipment, document intra‑procedural information, and ensure safe discharges.
