Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting using nursing process.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist and direct OR staff.
• Adhere to hospital/policy standards and participate in PI activities and meetings.
• Serve as a resource to other personnel and support unit operations.
