AdventHealth is seeking a qualified perioperative nurse to ensure safe patient flow in the operating room. The role requires RN licensure and strong acute care and perioperative skills, with emphasis on documentation, communication, and teamwork.

The position is full-time, day shift, at a Florida facility. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and perform scrub and circulating duties with adherence to safety and privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Assures appropriate traffic control in the operating room.
• Initiates incident reporting when indicated.
• Assists with orientation of new employees.
• Performs specialized perioperative nursing care.
• Assists with pre- and postoperative assessment.
• Performs surgical counts and prepares OR setup.
• Recognizes abnormal data and emergency situations.
• Maintains patient privacy and safety.
