Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS, ACLS certifications required within 90 days of employment.
• Active state nursing license in good standing.
• PALS required if pediatrics is included in the facility scope within 90 days.
• 1 year OR or med/surg nursing experience preferred.
• Perioperative nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
