Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to join a multidisciplinary perioperative team in Naples, FL. You will promote clinical quality, assess patient status through the perioperative course, and develop individualized care plans while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nursing staff.

The role requires nursing licensure in good standing and a background in OR or medical/surgical nursing, with BLS, ACLS (and PALS if pediatric care is involved)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification if pediatric care is included in scope.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
