Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for the Perioperative unit in the OR (General Surgery). The role is part-time days, Monday through Friday, 6:45am–3:15pm, with call. Requires BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and at least 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensed (GA) or multi-state compact.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• Licensed and knowledgeable in nursing practice according to standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process with evidence-based practice.
• Delivers patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and participates in rounds.
• Supports performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma
