Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks an experienced RN Clinical Periop Nurse for Cobb Hospital to join a multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering patient-centered perioperative care, participating in planning, and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other nurses.

Shifts are Mon-Fri 6:45am-7:15pm with on-call. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates. Requires BLS, ACLS, and PALS and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• RN license required (Single State or Compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or as stated.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, high-quality patient care.
• Acts as preceptor/mentor to other nurses and staff.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and participates in performance improvement.
