Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse for part-time day shifts. You will provide comprehensive perioperative patient care, coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and guide OR staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and perioperative experience. ACLS and PALS are expected within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training
• Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist and direct OR staff.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing and unit policies and procedures.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and in-services.
• Act as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
