Job summary

Mercy in Illinois seeks a dedicated perioperative RN to provide patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care across departments. The role demands graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure in Illinois, with at least one year of perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year perioperative nursing experience.
• BLS/ACLS required within first year.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with Mercy mission and standards.
